Very good food in a rustic dining room. Very friendly and helpful staff. It goes with venison medallions and turkey steak.

Nice, rustic decorated beer garden. From some places you have a great view of the basilica. Friendly staff. The food was okay, but not outstanding. The Kässpätzle, for example, deserved a more flavorful cheese.

Clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was good and the guy there was very nice. In the evening we ate in the beer garden. It was very busy, but the waitress was very friendly even when she was stressed. The food tasted really good! It's a shame that there is so much smoking in the beer garden. This is rather suboptimal for non-smokers and families with children.

Great place to stay. Clean and tidy room with TV and good bathroom. Great German breakfast for a good price.

The staff there is very friendly and always endeavors to fulfill the wishes of the guest to the fullest satisfaction. The food also tastes good here and the inn has a cozy atmosphere.

The staff runs unstructured and haphazardly through the area, which could be due to the lack of staff in relation to the oversized beer garden. The ladies set priorities incorrectly and sometimes ignore new guests. As with our second visit today, we had to wait over 1.25 hours for the meal, which almost forced us to leave. The meal came with a delay of 12 minutes. The burger I had was fried to death and the fries tasted like stale fat. What was made up for by the chef on the first visit also failed today. Despite all this, the chef definitely does a great job. The food is definitely great during the week or when there is little activity.

Unfortunately, the staff was very rude and brisk on the phone when reserving the table. We wanted to reserve a table for 7 people for the same day and were made aware that they too had to plan the staff in good time and that a reservation would have been necessary a few days earlier. They would have given us a table, but we decided to go to another restaurant.

The rooms are very clean, attractive and functional. Owner extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast nothing special but everything you need. A well-resolved output concept in corona times. Hotel operation full marks.

Writing this review only about hotel and not about Restaurant...Good place for short stay. Room with small stove and small refrigerator, friendly service. Ventilation is not proper in room that is the only concern.

Best shwabian food!!! I love in Chicago and come to Weingarten on business trips. I grew up in Swabia and this is hands down the best food in town!!!
